Center for molecular diagnostics (CMD) is one of the largest laboratory-diagnostic centers in Russia that operate on the basis of the Central research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor and providing patients and healthcare providers a wide range of laboratory diagnostic and research expertise in the main areas of laboratory diagnostics.
CMD is one of the market leaders in laboratory services and molecular technologies of Russia and CIS countries, mainly performed on the basis of modern molecular genetic techniques such as PCR, real-time, NASBA, sequencing, pyrosequencing, and hybridization methods.
We develop, produce and implement in clinical practice their diagnostic tests (study) for the detection of infectious, hereditary and genetically caused human diseases, many of which are unique and performed only in the CMD of the Central research Institute of Epidemiology. Our PCR tests have a CE mark in accordance with Directive 98/79/EC on the manufacture of products for in vitro diagnostics.
