Training using distance learning technologies
Distance learning technologies (DLT) include a complex of educational services provided by means of the specialized information educational environment, based on means of sharing training information via the Internet. Information educational environment of the DOT is a system-organized set of means of data transmission, information resources, interaction protocols, hardware-software and organizational-methodical support, oriented on satisfaction of educational needs of users.

The evolutionary development of distance learning technologies, implemented in LMS of Moscow state industrial University professional educational programs, was carried out in the direction of increasing use of various telecommunication and networking technologies, support of independent work of students, electronic educational-methodical manuals and multimedia tutorials.

Until recently, as a basic educational technology in DLS MSIU used "case-technology", which was supplemented by interactive telecommunication support of the educational process, face-to-face consultations, both in traditional form and in the form of video-teleconferencing for all fields of study pursued at the educational-methodical database of regional offices. Since 2008, the introduction of Electronic distance Learning System (ESDO), allowed to proceed to the implementation of training programs using distance learning technologies in full.

ASDA contains all the key functions necessary for the educational process through the Internet: authorize a student to the final assessment of the student‘s work in each of the discipline studied. ASDA, provides an opportunity to communicate the student teacher as a grid schedule in the on-line or at any convenient time in the off-line mode. All control tests and tasks can be performed by students remotely. E-statement allows you to control the process of study of discipline students.

Students of the correspondence Department of FSBEI HPE "MSIU" vary with respect to the basic level of education (medium to high) and age: among them, yesterday‘s schoolchildren, and the elderly. Many students DLS already have practical work experience and vocational education. Also among them are the students of Moscow state industrial University day and evening classes, receiving in parallel with the first second higher professional education. For example, in parallel with the engineering degree you can get a law degree or an economist.
